One of the best gifts for a man is a gift basket. They have so many advantages over many of the gifts we normally give to our men.And the best way to get a great mens gift basket is to make it yourself.

A homemade gift basket is one of the best gift baskets you can give. It's personalized just from you to him, and that's as good as it gets for a wonderful, and romantic gift for him.

It's not at all difficult to make a gift basket.

A little thought, a little creativity, a little time spent and you can have a gift basket to give him to make any woman proud. What's involved in making your own gift basket?

First you need a basket. You can even make a basket if you want, but that's probably a little too much.There's lots of cheap and extremely functional and good looking baskets available.

And it needn't be a basket. Really all you need is a container. I like to think that one of the most important parts of creating a gift basket is to theme it.

And to make your container conform to your theme.Your theme is what your gift basket to him is all about. So it's about his interests. If he's a golf nut then why not make it a golf themed gift basket.

If he's in need of a new golf bag and that's going to be your gift to him why not make it a golf bag gift basket.

Or how about a nice carry bag so that once he's opened his gifts he can use if for his practice balls or golf gear?

Think about a range of other golf related gifts you can include. Small filler gifts are great to fill in small spaces, and to draw out the fun when he's opening it all.

Even better is a few small and funny golf gifts to include in the basket.

Everyone likes to laugh and so anything golf related and funny should go down well.

Once you've decided on your basket you need gifts. One or 2 larger and more important gifts are great, then the rest are your filler gifts.

You need wrapping paper or fabric. Celophane perhaps, or a golf themed fabric to wrap your golf gift basket/bag in.

And you need some packing materials too. Shredded paper perhaps, or shredded cardboard. Polystyrene pieces, bubble wrap. Anything that looks fine and packs well.

Once you're set up with your theme, basket/container, wrapping material, gifts, packing materials and fillers, you're good to go.

Start by packing your main gifts, secure with your packing materials, and place your smaller gifts and fillers around the outside of the larger gifts.

Make sure that the fragile gifts aren't on the bottom, and everything is firm and won't rattle or break.

Finally comes one of the most important parts. Making this a gift that is just from you and just for him.

Making it personal, something you could never quite do with a regular commercial gift.So maybe you could write him a romantic poem tellling him how you feel.

A nice card perhaps.

Or maybe a special surprise.If it's for your partner why not a special sexy surprise for him, just for him to unexpectedly find?

There's so much you can do to make it an extra special surprise gift basket for him. You're only limited by your imagination.
